The beginning.

April 27, 2012 By Kristen Leave a Comment

The time has come. I’m ready to eat kale again. It’s been much too long and I miss the earthy smell and the bitter yet sweet taste. And I really miss how great I feel knowing how good kale is for me.

So I’ve decided that I’m going to bring kale to Paris. And today marks the birth of The Kale Project. The idea has been brewing in my mind for some time now but I’m ready to make kale in Paris a reality.

It won’t be easy and at times it might not be fun but that doesn’t matter to me because I truly believe that kale should be available to everyone, especially in a country where food is so important.

The first step is finding the perfect, organic vegetable farmer who is willing to begin growing kale. France is not necessarily known for being extremely open to change or trying new things, so we’ll see how my farmer search goes.

I’m looking forward to sharing this journey with you.

for the love of kale, kristen x
