Le Conquet

September 15, 2015 By Kristen

Happy 4th season of kale! I received a great #KaleSpotted not that long ago from a devoted TKP follower, Marion who introduced me to one of her local farmers, Maryvonne.

Kale qui sourit

Maryvonne, Sancho et Grampa

Located in Ploumoguer, Maryvonne has been farming for the past four years. She cultivates her vegetables working with two donkeys to prepare the land before seeding or planting. “I love them and they love me!” Maryvonne told me.

Culture de Chou Kale

This is her first year planting kale, with an extra push from Marion, and she is glad she tried and wants to continue.
