#KaleSpotted Weekend Planning

October 4, 2013 By Kristen

Thanks to everyone who came out to Verjus this week to celebrate National Kale Day. For the first year it was a big success both in Paris and in America.

Are you in Instagram? If so, get involved with #KaleSpotted and tag your kale photos. It will be a great way for everyone to see how the world (or just France) enjoys kale!

Congrats to “EPG” for winning the National Kale Day giveaway of 50 Shades of Kale. Your book will be on its way soon.

A things I enjoyed this week.

  • FIVE things to avoid when shopping for food. What would you add? (Also Barry Estabrook’s Tomatoland is a must-read).
  • Quinoa as a celebrity.
  • NPR is over kale (but still admits that it has great health benefits and that they eat copious amounts of kale salads).
  • Great GIVEAWAYS from Paris Paysanne, The Francofly and Savoir Faire Paris.

This week’s #KaleSpotted has some great new updates so happy weekend and happy kale!
