It’s here. After 11 months of Paris and zero kale, I am off to America where kale is left, right and center. And not only am I off to America but as I’ve mentioned before, I’m off to New York City where kale is the new version of the Brooklyn hipster flannel shirt or beard (don’t worry Brooklyn, I heart you!)
Either way, I have a plan. And here it is. First stop, Life Thyme co-op on Sixth Avenue & Greenwich Avenue for a kale and quelquelchose juice! (followed by an uber-cheap mani/pedi).
The goal is to hit up as many of these spots as possible and try their kale dishes. I’ve reached out to a few already and hope to have recipes featured or something special to share with you about each spot. All in the name of sharing and showing the French that kale can be cool.
Here is the itinerary… if you have any additions, thoughts, etc, please tell me. I also noticed that many places are more downtown. Do you have any recos for uptown kale spots? This will be my last week in the Big Apple for a very long time (tear…) so I would love your thoughts.
