And Le Tour de Kale has been incredible so far! Here are a few highlights.
Checking out the new restaurant from the Candle Cafe on the Upper West Side and meeting with their teams.
Invited out to Brad’s Raw Foods Chip Factory in Bucks County, PA
Harvesting kale with Brad’s Raw Foods first kale farm, Swallow Hill.
Enjoying a green juice from Melvin’s Juice Box. Melvin is the 20-year juice king from Greenwich Village’s Lifethyme Co-op Market.
Getting the inside scoop from the masters of the popular restaurant, Northern Spy in the East Village.
Checking out the juice bar at Google NY Headquarters after a conversation about the name of kale in French with Google Creative Labs. This is carrot juice but I know they frequently offer kale juices for free to their employees.
Jealous! You are missing nothing here in Paris; the markets have all given over to tchotchke vendors and as-seen-on-tv bras.

I’m dying from this! I totally understand about the as-seen-on-tv bra stands. They were clearly filtering in before I left for the states. Not the filler you’d want for produce… Hang in there!
