There have been a lot of updates recently in the supermarket world for #KaleSpotted (map here). I’ve decided to change all supermarket spots to a blue color so it is easy to identify between them and producers. Look at France! And there are also a few spots popping up on the borders as well. Also, have you seen this great map by Paris Paysanne of all the local producers by market?
A few spots I am excited about:
-Manor Food, Geneva
-Cours de Vincennes/Daumesnil via Maison Laury, Paris
-Toubio, Lille
And if you have a Le Grand Frais, Auchan, Bio C’Bon or Biocoop near you, call and ask them if they have choux kale as many of the locations for these chains are sourcing it now.

The map links to this page, I was hoping it’d link to the map on google maps so I could zoom in.

The link under ‘great map by Paris Paysanne’ just links back to this page. That is not easy to see why anyone would need a link to the current page, especially if the link claims to be pointing to something else, like a map. I did finally find the map which is linked under ‘for #KaleSpotted’ which I would have thought linked to Facebook or Twitter what with the hashtag and all. I *REALLY* would love to find Kale near where I live so I tried extra hard, and only had another look once you insisted that the link is there somewhere, but I bet most people will quickly click away. Why not just fix it?

Hi Niki,
Apologies. I did not know the link for Emily’s map went to my page. Sloppy copy/paste mistake. Thanks for letting me know. I fixed that link and made it more clear in the language that the #kalespotted link goes to the map. The hashtag is included because that is the name of the map. The map is also accessible from the home page of the site on the right hand side.
Thanks for your suggestions. I hope you are able to find kale. If not now, then soon!
Kristen
